Walk-on Wednesdays with the Cast of
The Second City 2: Less Pride … More Pork

Improv becomes the latest hometown sport in the hands of Cincinnati celebrities during post-show "Walk-On Wednesdays" sessions with the cast of The Second City 2: Less Pride … More Pork at Playhouse in the Park.

For each weekday performance following the show, The Second City adds a true improv session to the evening, playing traditional improv games based on suggestions from the audience. This session lasts between 10 and 15 minutes.

We've drafted the following to join the cast onstage and play improv games:

— Wednesday, May 9 - Bob Herzog, Local 12 morning news anchor notorious for his "Dance Party Friday" features.

— Wednesday, May 16 - WGRR-FM's "Married with Microphones" morning host Janeen Coyle.

— Wednesday, June 6 - Eben Franckewitz, recent American Idol Top 24 finalist and veteran performer in the Playhouse's A Christmas Carol.

— Wednesday, June 13 – Sheila Gray, Fox 19 Morning Show co-anchor.

It's a chance to cheer on the hometown team as they match wits with Chicago's finest; additional walk-ons to be announced later. There will not be a walk-on May 23 because of a two show day.

Intensify your theatre experience by attending Playhouse Perspectives, our free pre-show lecture series featuring scholars, panelists and theatre artists who examine issues related to the performance. You don't need a ticket to the performance to attend these discussions (but we think you'll want one). Playhouse Perspectives is made possible by a gift from Roderick and Barbara Barr.
