Tasting Series

Enhance your Playhouse experience with our 2016-17 Tasting Series!

Join us before select performances throughout the season for a series of culinary events, including wine pairing dinners, bourbon tastings, vegetarian dinners and afternoon teas. Upcoming events are listed below. To reserve your spot for any Tasting Series event, call the Playhouse Box Office at 513-421-3888 by the Friday prior to your date.

Craft Beer Experience

Fridays, April 28, May 5, May 12, and May 19, 2017, at 6:30 p.m.

Join us before Friday evening performances of Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery for a special craft beer experience. Events start at 6:30 p.m. for $32 per person.

The menu features:

• Specialty Slider Stations: Culinary staff will build sliders to order from several options.

• Pretzel buns and mini-slider buns
• Angus beef sliders and pulled rotisserie chicken
• Red pepper aioli, MadTree and Rhinegeist mustard, roasted tomato salsa and signature barbecue sauce
• Marbled Buffalo Jack cheese, mozzarella cheese and Colby Jack cheese
• Dijon slaw, citrus slaw, Mediterranean greens, sliced Roma tomatoes, pickles, caramelized onions, crunchy onions and Ratatouille slaw

• Hickory Saratoga chips
• Kettle baked beans
• Marinated vegetable salad
• Dressed deviled eggs (plain, pesto and spicy barbecue bacon)
• Petite cookies and petite dessert bars

The Craft Beer Experience features a six-sample flight from MadTree Brewing and Rhinegeist Brewing with food by Vonderhaar's Catering. To reserve your spot, call the Playhouse Box Office at 513-421-3888.

Casual Dining

We are pleased to partner with Vonderhaar's to provide casual fare dining at the Playhouse. Selections include freshly prepared gourmet sandwiches, signature salads, homemade soups and other more elaborate seasonal menus.

No reservations are necessary; service begins 90 minutes prior to curtain.

Playhouse Bar and Concessions

For a relaxing cocktail before the show or during intermission, the Playhouse operates a full-service bar with beer, wine, soft drinks and liquor.
