Frequently Asked Questions

Where are classes held?

All classes are held at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, 962 Mt. Adams Circle, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.

When will I receive a class confirmation?

We will email confirmation of your payment and your spot in the class within two business days of your registration. Closer to the starting date of the class, we will send a more detailed email confirming class dates, times, locations and other general information.

What is your class attendance policy?

We expect students to be on time and attend every day of the classes in which they enroll, except in the case of illness or emergency.

May parents watch classes?

Parents are welcome to wait in the lobby during classes but are not invited into the classroom except on the final day of class when activities are shared.

What is the class registration fee?

To secure your space in a class, you must pay a nonrefundable registration fee, which is included in the tuition price. Fees are $25 per class. 

When is class tuition due?

Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration or a payment plan must be arranged. To discuss payment plans, please contact the Playhouse's Education Department at 513-977-2031.

What is your class cancellation policy?

If you cancel your registration at least two weeks before the class begins, we will refund tuition less the $25 per class registration fee.

If you cancel your registration less than two weeks before the class starts, no refund will be given. Any tuition paid for the cancelled class, minus the $25 per class registration fee, becomes a credit that can be applied to other classes throughout the 2016-17 school year.

The Playhouse reserves the right to cancel a class if enrollment is insufficient. Any tuition paid will be refunded in full, including the registration fee.

Should you decide that you do not want to continue after attending the first day of class, let us know before the second class and we will issue you credit for another class in the 2016-17 school year, minus the $25 registration fee. After the second day of class, we will not make any tuition or enrollment adjustments.
