For best service, please avoid calling the box office for future reservations in the hour immediately before curtain times. This keeps you off "hold" for long periods and frees the lines for patrons calling about that day's tickets. Likewise, the first half-hour of each day tends to be busy on the phones. Let the rush subside to save yourself some time.

Save money on tickets to individual shows. The Playhouse offers a variety of discount options. Tickets can be purchased online or via the Playhouse box office either by phone or in person.

On average, 10 percent of ticket buyers do not use their tickets. The Playhouse cannot resell these tickets, yet we often turn people away at sold-out performances while seats go empty. If your schedule changes, don’t miss a show you want to see or let your tickets go to waste.

Support the Playhouse by taking advantage of one of these services:

Subscriber Ticket Exchange

Contact the Playhouse box office by phone or in person no later than noon the day of your performance.

Tell us which show you want to exchange. Once we agree on an alternate seat location and date, we will exchange your seats instantly, release your old seats for sale immediately and hold your new seats at the box office WILL CALL window. Pick up your new tickets anytime during box office hours.

Your old tickets will be invalid.  Please tear them lengthwise and discard.  Don’t forget to mark your calendar with your new performance date.

Please note:

  • We cannot exchange your tickets after they have expired. Please read the missed performances procedure below to find out how you can still see the show.
  • There are no service charges for subscribers to exchange any ticket, including additional single ticket purchases.
  • We cannot guarantee availability or equivalent seating for exchanges. Since we do not save seats for exchanges, please call us as soon as you know you have a conflict.
  • Exchanges made to higher priced tickets will be charged the price difference. Exchanges to lower priced tickets will not receive a refund.
  • Upgrade charges are due at the time of exchange and can be charged to Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
  • Reserved parking may not be available on your new performance day. If parking is sold out for your new date choice, we will put you on a waiting list and call you when we secure space. If we cannot secure a spot, please stop by the box office on the night of your performance to obtain a parking refund for that individual performance.

Single Ticket Exchange

Please contact the Playhouse box office, by phone or in person, no later than noon the day of your performance.

  • There is a $3.75 exchange fee per ticket/per exchange.
  • We cannot exchange your tickets after they have expired. Please see the missed performances procedure below to find out how you can still see the show.
  • Seating is based on availability and may not be comparable to original seating.
  • Exchanges made to higher priced tickets will be charged the price difference. Exchanges to lower priced tickets will not receive a refund.
  • Upgrade charges are due at the time of exchange and can be charged by phone to Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
  • Not valid for benefit performances, group sales and discounted tickets.
Tax Credit

Donate your tickets to the Playhouse as a charitable contribution to a not-for-profit organization. Call the box office to release your seats BEFORE the scheduled performance, destroy your tickets and we will send you a receipt for your tax return. Once the performance begins, we cannot issue tax-deductible certificates (per Internal Revenue Service guidelines).

Duplicate Tickets

Give the gift of theatre to friends, acquaintances or business associates.  If you cannot get your tickets to them, we can print duplicates for pick up at the box office.

Missed Performance

After your tickets have expired, it’s still not too late to see the show. We offer a general admission Empty Seat Pass for a fee of $5.00, valid only for another performance of the same play. Here’s how it works:

  • The box office distributes Empty Seat Passes beginning ONE HOUR prior to curtain on a first-come, first-served basis when expired tickets are presented.
  • You then meet the house manager at the door of the theatre just prior to curtain, and he or she assists you in finding empty seats.
  • The Empty Seat Pass option is valid through the final performance of the missed show. Please call the box office to confirm the show time on the day you plan to attend.

Save money on tickets to individual shows. The Playhouse offers a variety of discount options for groups, children, teens, senior citizens, young adults, members of the armed forces and the general public.*
