Corporate Sponsorship at the Playhouse is a Win-Win proposition.

Join other corporate leaders in the community who already know that a sponsorship at the Playhouse is good business.

(WIN) - It’s the right thing to do for the Community

A vibrant arts and culture industry is good for business. The Cincinnati area's arts scene is flourishing and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park is a major contributor to it. According to a study done by University of Cincinnati’s Economics Center in 2005, the Playhouse’s overall economic impact on our local economy was over $20 million. Not only do we help bring jobs and dollars to the Tri-state area, but Cincinnati’s thriving arts scene helps attract and keep young creative workers in the community.

(WIN) – It’s the smart thing to do for your business

Your investment in the Playhouse is essential for us and a gift to our community, but we understand that it must also be good for your business. A sponsorship at the Playhouse reaches the right people. Our audience is made up of highly educated, well-compensated professionals who live throughout Greater Cincinnati’s 13-county region. Depending upon the sponsorship, a partnership with the Playhouse can yield over 10,000,000 favorable impressions for your company – through logo placement in printed materials, our Web site, advertising, entertainment benefits and more.

Otto M. Budig Family Foundation

For 19 years I have had the distinct honor of knowing Otto Budig. The following brief article about Otto may give you the facts about the man but not a clear sense of the measure of him. Let me add my own perspective:

Otto truly loves this region and believes that how well it thrives can best be seen in its arts. All of the arts here, both performing and visual, would not be as prominent without Otto’s support. Yes, Otto has given a great deal of money to support the mission of Cincinnati Playhouse; but even more importantly, he has given his time and energy, his care and heart, to strengthen this organization.

Otto Budig is a treasure.

Edward Stern, Playhouse Producing Artistic Director

This year marks the 14th consecutive year that the Otto M. Budig Family Foundation has been a Season presenter and the 19th anniversary of its support of the season’s lead production in the Marx Theatre.

Otto began his legendary history of giving to the arts at the Playhouse. Sam Huttenbauer, a friend and colleague, took him to lunch and asked him to sponsor a production. As Otto says, “I’d never given that kind of money to anybody for anything in my entire life, but I jumped in with both feet – and I never stopped.”

According to Otto, the objective of the Foundation’s support of the Playhouse is the same as in any other business transaction that he makes: a good return on his investment. The Playhouse’s history of success, both on stage and on the balance sheet, ensures that his sponsorship dollars are well spent. The return on his investment is productions of the highest quality for Playhouse audiences – an excellent ROI and an extraordinary gift to his community.

Available Sponsorships

Production Sponsorships

If your marketing goals include reaching an affluent and loyal demographic, a sponsorship at the Playhouse fits your needs. Depending on the level of sponsorship, our flexible benefits will give your company brand exposure, direct marketing opportunities and exclusive hospitality offers.

Education and Outreach Sponsorships

Participation in the arts builds strong communities and you can help the Playhouse bring the magic of theatre to the Cincinnati area by supporting our Education and Outreach programs. Opportunities include funding scholarships, workshops, in-school performances, summer camp, acting classes, subsidized ticket programs and more.

Red Carpet Packages

If you’ve been to the Great American Ball Park or Paul Brown Stadium and enjoyed the intimacy of a luxury suite, imagine what it would be like to come to the Playhouse and experience the same kind of VIP treatment. Except you’re even closer to the action! You and your guests will enjoy dinner in your own private dining room, get a behind-the-scenes look at your production and then enjoy a Playhouse show of your choice. Be as casual or as formal as you choose. Package includes 10 dinners, 10 tickets to a theatre production of your choice and 5 parking passes.

The Red Carpet Package, priced at $2,500, is the best entertainment deal in town!

Corporate Partners

The business case for corporate philanthropy is clear:  Companies are only as strong as the communities they call home. Corporate Partners’ donations are used to underwrite general operating expenses at the Playhouse, so that we can pay our staff and keep our lights on. It’s not glamorous, but it’s critical to keep our business open — and we believe an investment in the Playhouse means a better tomorrow for your employees, customers and community.
