MOE AND JACK'S PLACE — THE ROUSE THEATRE
In a vibrant, Emmy-nominated performance seen on PBS, award-winning actress Angela Ingersoll sings the works of Judy Garland in a special concert event. Backed by a dynamite band, she delivers virtuosic vocals, passionate storytelling, humor and heart. Ingersoll relates stories of Judy’s life between classic songs including "Get Happy," "The Trolley Song," "The Man That Got Away,” "That's Entertainment!" and, of course, "Over the Rainbow." Chicago Sun-Times exclaims, “Phenomenal. Judy Garland's been reborn.” Don’t miss this entertaining and unforgettable tribute to an American icon.
"Ingersoll has incandescent star power... She's a ringer for the original in every respect... Ingersoll was born to play Garland." - Los Angeles Times
Get Happy is recommended for teenage and adult audiences. This celebration of Judy Garland’s life and music includes some mature themes as they relate to her addiction and mental health struggles.
