ABOUT THE SHOW

After seeing her fiancé kissing another woman on the televised Thanksgiving Day Parade, Mary’s life falls apart – just in time for the holidays. Newly single, she stumbles through the emotional, and often comically absurd, minefield of the dating world over the next year. Each milestone on the calendar brings misadventures: Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and St. Patrick’s Day are marked by awkward dates; wedding season in June delivers its own string of disappointments; and Halloween proves to be an outright horror. Until the following Christmas arrives and an unexpected encounter opens her heart and a new way forward. This heartfelt one-woman comedy brings humor and a fresh, modern spirit to the holiday season.

Audio-Described performance

Trained volunteers describe the visual elements of the production via a hearing enhancement system, allowing patrons to hear dialogue, music and other sound effects. The description is timed to avoid interfering with dialogue. Before the show and during intermission, show and actor information are shared.
