Playhouse Acting Classes and Workshops

At the Playhouse, we believe everyone has a voice. Our acting classes are designed to build confidence, strengthen communication skills and develop a sense of ensemble and community. Programs for young people ages 3 to 14 focus on individual and collective skill development in a fun and supportive environment. Adult workshops offer an opportunity for audiences to enhance their experience with select productions.

In this one-hour, multigenerational workshop, kids and parents (or grandparents!) alike will learn how to walk, talk and fight like a pirate by using a combination of stage combat and acting techniques. Pirate Training Workshops take place before 4 p.m. Saturday matinee performances. A parent or guardian may join their child for the workshop, but an adult is not necessary for kids to participate. Tickets to the show and parking passes sold separately.
